Mission, Vision, and Values

Mission:

To engage every student in learning in a safe and caring environment.

Vision:

To become a place where all students are supported first in their quest to become “good people”, and then to support them in their quest to become the “best students” that they are academically capable of becoming.

Values:

We have six values that we center our learning around, in keeping with our Community of Caring status:

1. Respect – treating all students, staff, and community members with dignity and respect
2. Responsibility – ensuring that our students develop responsible behaviours and become good citizens
3. Family – working hard to make all members of our community feel like family members
4. Caring – caring for those around us
5. Trust – becoming trustworthy, and trust our community members
6. Cooperation – working together to meet our potential, as individuals and as a school.
